Considering the issued winter storm warning, the timing of the snow, and forecasted high winds, Hinckley-Big Rock schools will be implementing a fully remote learning day on Tuesday January 26th. The focus of this learning day will be to support the social-emotional well-being of our students. Students will engage in activities planned by their teachers that limit screens and encourage interaction with peers and families. Students should log in to their learning platform for further directions from teachers. Enjoy the snow!
As a result of Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD #429 being in Region 1 of Illinois and that region being under Tier 1 resurgence mitigations, the regular Board meeting on January 27th will be lived streamed at 6:30 pm to the general public on our YouTube channel and can be viewed at https://tinyurl.com/HBRYouTube. The HBR Board of Education will meet in person in the HBRHS library with no more than 16 public attenders permitted due to the Tier 1 resurgence mitigation restrictions. To view the agenda, visit https://tinyurl.com/HBRAgenda. If you wish to make public comment for our live streamed Board meeting, you can submit your comment at https://tinyurl.com/HBR1-27PC. This Google Form will be available up until the time for public comment during the regular Board meeting on 1.27.2021 at 6:30 pm.
