We are very excited to announce the employment of Ms. Bonnie Osborne as our new Director of Student Services for the 2024-2025 school year. Ms. Osborne will officially begin her role on July 1, 2024. Ms. Osborne has served as a special education teacher at a therapeutic day school and at large public high schools. Her administrative experience includes working as a Special Education Coordinator and an Assistant Director of Student Services for students in early childhood through transition programming. Currently, Ms. Osborne is the Principal at Blackhawk Academy, a public day school, in West Aurora SD #129. Ms. Osborne brings with her extensive knowledge in intervention planning and alternative learning opportunities for students with diverse learning needs, as well as a strong background in special education law and grant writing. Ms. Osborne is passionate about supporting students, parents, and teachers. She is looking forward to joining the HBR Royal Family!
