HBR FFA hosted the land use contest Soils Career Development Event for Northern Illinois at Grunwald Farms Forest Preserve, in Elburn on October 4th. . We partner directly with the Kane Co Forest Preserve, Kane Co Farm Bureau, and NRCS-Natural Resource Conservation District.

Fourteen Educators Rising students traveled to the elementary school on October 2nd to read Piper Chen Sings. The high school students taught lessons about empowering story performance butterflies into confidence.

Herff-Jones presented to our students on Monday, they handed out information regarding Caps and Gowns to seniors, and all other students had the opportunity to take home information regarding rings and jackets. Our rep will be back on Monday, October 7th from 5pm-7pm to help any parents and students with ordering and sizing.

Help support Prom 2025 and let us take care of dinner! The junior class will be hosting its annual 5B's fundraiser on October 10th from 4:30pm-6pm. Each meal is $16 and will be available at the HS drive-thru style. You can pre-order or order the day of! Payment due at pickup.
Herff-Jones will be in the building during lunch hours on Monday, September 30th. They will be handing out cap/gown and announcement information to seniors and ring/jacket information to anyone who would like it. Please check in with your students when they come home for this information!
A representative will return on the evening of October 7th from 5pm-7pm to speak with parents regarding any questions they have and to do ring or jacket sizing.
Our final spirit day this week was a huge success! Thank you to all of those who showed their Royal pride today. We can't wait for the events tonight!!
The Parade down McKinley begins at 5:30 tonight, followed by the Taste of HBR at 6pm, the field dedication at 7:15pm and our soccer game under the lights at 7:30pm! We hope to see you all there!!
