Hinckley - Big Rock FFA is still in need of high school student volunteers for Sandwich Fair. The event will be held on Thursday, September 4th, with various shifts from 6 am-9 pm! As a volunteer, your responsibilities will include being in the animal pens, engaging with visitors, selling water, and ensuring that anyone who milks Maggie The Cow receives a sticker. It will be a fun-filled day, and we would love for you to be a part of it! Students must complete the permission form on the webstore to attend!! Registration closes at 8:30am September 3rd.

School starts soon (IVVC 8/13 and HBR 8/20)! Please make sure your student is registered in Skyward Family Access and you have completed 8 to 18 if they are participating in ANY sports this year.
Students will not be able to attend the 1st day of classes if they are not registered and will not be able to practice their sport!!
Earlier this week, the Hinckley - Big Rock FFA Officer Teams had an officer retreat! They kayaked, bonded as a team, made S'mores, and set goals for the year at Shabbona Lake State Park. A huge thanks to the Honiotes Family and their crew, Kane County Farm Bureau, and Chickabitty Designs for making the day possible!

Today, students joined Mrs. Tracey Sanderson to set up posts in the Ag Plot! This year, Hinckley - Big Rock FFA is growing 35 varieties of soybean seed, planted on May 17th. Each year, students are encouraged to be a part of the process, from seed to harvest. The Ag Plot provides a learning opportunity to enhance agricultural knowledge and understand industry practices!
