We have officially hired Kaylee Diller to lead the cheer program at Hinckley-Big Rock High School. Anyone interested in participating in cheer next school year, please come to a brief meet and greet after school Tuesday, April 30th at 3:10 in the cafeteria. Three players from the HBR Chess Team competed in the Grove Avenue School tournament on April 6th in Barrington, IL. The HBR Team comprised of Austin McMurtrie (Sr), Nathan Schlachter (Jr), and Savannah McMurtrie (So) earned 1st place team honors. Austin McMurtrie earned individual 1st place honors with a 5/5 finish. The players received their trophy from 2008 US Chess Champion Yury Schulman who organized the tournament. Congratulations Royals!
