Tonight's Board of Education meeting has been canceled due to the illness of several members, which has resulted in a lack of quorum. The meeting will be rescheduled for next Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Hinckley-Big Rock High School.
Happy National FFA Week! Today we recognizing HBRHS FFA members Harrison Nier and Carmela Key who competed in Section 6 Proficiency Interviews last week! Carmela placed 1st in the area of Food Service, and will be moving on to compete at the district level on March 6th. Harrison placed 2nd in the area of Vegetable Production. He has also earned his State Degree, which will be presented to him this summer at Illinois State Convention in June. They have both worked extremely hard, putting in hundreds of hours of dedicated time into their jobs and Record Books. We are so proud to see them achieving greatness through FFA!!
It's a great night to have the HBR Drama Club cook for you! Tables are ready to seat our guests for their pasta night fundraiser! $12 via card or cash at the door, plenty of meals still available. Come eat before the games tonight!

Parent/Guardians Date Night! On Tuesday, February 18th from 6:00-8:30 PM, HBR's National Honor Society will be hosting a "Parent/Guardian Date Night" event. The idea is for parents/guardians to drop their kids (12 years old or under) off at the high school for a night of games & activities, so parents/guardians can go on a date and celebrate Valentine's Day a few days late together. The cost is $10 cash at the door, and $5 for each additional child. Parents can sign their kid(s) up HERE: Date Night Sign UP

Who wants fresh strawberries?? Hinckley - Big Rock FFA Alumni is excited to be holding our 4th Annual FRESH FLORIDA STRAWBERRY FUNDRAISER!!! These berries will be picked, cooled, and put straight on the truck for delivery to the Hinckley - Big Rock High School! They will be arriving to the HBRHS Ag Shop the week of March 3rd. The Alumni will be calling all customers for immediate pick - up for optimal freshness. Proceeds will benefit the Ag Education Building Project and scholarships for HBR FFA students.
