SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS
JOB SUMMARY: Hinckley-Big Rock School District is looking for school bus drivers both regular and substitutes. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, driving a regular route or substituting on regular and special education school routes, driving students to sporting events, on field trips, and other driving duties as needed.

The Hinckley-Big Rock School District will train a qualified applicant who does not already have a license to drive a school bus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Must be 21 years of age or older
2) Have a valid and current Illinois driver’s license or school bus driver's license/endorsement.
3) Possess a valid driver’s license for 3 years immediately prior to the date of your application, which has not been revoked, suspended, cancelled, or disqualified.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or equivalent and demonstrated skill in reading, writing and communication. Previous driving experience is a plus but not necessary. We will train you!
STARTING SALARY: $ 21.97 per hour for daily route driving, $20.00 per hour for substitute drivers, field trip and event driving.

Cream Truck Info
Since we can’t have our normal end-of-the-year celebrations and to thank the entire staff for their amazing work during a crazy year...
The HBR PTO is bringing the Cream King Ice Cream Truck to the middle school on May 26th! (The truck will be at the school from 12:00-1:00. Rain or shine!)
All staff and students will receive one ticket for an ice cream of their choice. (Attached is a picture you can peruse now to help make the tough decision!)
If time allows: students, staff, and parents may purchase extra ice cream at just $2.50 per piece!
