HBR is in need of substitute teachers and teaching assistants (paraprofessionals) to help in our schools. If you have 60 college hours or more, you may be eligible for a paraprofessional and/or short term sub teaching license. This week, our kindergarten team had the opportunity to meet with Eagle Scout, William Engel, who built the new kindergarten garden. He came to show some of our youngest learners how he planned for and built the garden. Students had fun exploring- smelling basil & mint- and seeing the butterflies who enjoy the flowers. They even tasted cucumbers & peppers grown right here.
We want to thank William for his incredible work at HBRES, and we wish him the very best as he begins his journey at Aurora University!

Join the Big Rock Library tomorrow! They are hosting a Take and Make at the Big Rock Library for people who like to do arts and crafts. They will bring supplies and hope the kids might decide to make a project that can be entered in the Jr. Fair during Plowing Match. You do not need to have a library card and the session runs from 10:30 am to noon. Come and be crafty!
It's our first Royal Friday of the year! Be sure to have your student wear his/her best "Royal Wear" each Friday to join us and possibly featured in our Royal Friday sightings!
